Tofu was surrendered to us after his previous owner was between housing and was unable to take care of him any longer. Despite this hard decision and transition, Tofu has had the best tempermant during this tough change.

In his previous home, Tofu lived with both cats and dogs, but we are unsure how he would be around children, as the staff have none to test him with. As usual, meet-and-greets with potential families and their dogs must take place before a trial adoption takes place.

Tofu is a high-energy dog that is still learning his leash manners, but with enough time and treats, he’ll learn no problem! He has been known to be an escape artist, so he would need constant supervision outside until he is boundary-trained, which can take some time.

From his short time at the shelter, we’ve noticed that Tofu is a happy-go-lucky boy who loves to be around his family and give them the best face washes ever! He loves to drink from every puddle he meets, which includes splashing in them as well.
